Japanese dining bar IROHA in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Japanese architect and interior designer Joe Chikamori, representative of the architectural design office "07Beach", re-designed IROHA bar in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Owner of the bar guidelines was to create a bar that would set the counter as the backbone of the restaurant and let Japanese businessmen enjoy both the Japanese oriented food and talking to the Vietnamese lady staff.

Chikamori designed 1st floor using an S line where guests and staff will cross each other paths without any borders separating them. He used stairs to sweeten the existing difference in floor level.
