Big Appetites Project by Boffoli

Christopher Boffoli a Seattle-based photographer, writer, artist and filmmaker.

His Big Appetites Project was born from his media exposure as a child where he saw tine people living in a normal-sized world.

This kind of cultural theme is connected with Jonathan Swift’s Gilliver’s Travels in the 18th century and now Boffoli developed his own artwork using macro lenses combining food and toys making it instantly accessible to almost everyone.

The eating subject refers to the stronger primal instinct of ours while the toy figures are connected to his childhood playtime was he used to be an avid collector of Matchbox cars, a model railroader and a builder of models (cars, ships and aeroplanes).
